Became the first women’s golfer for Marshall to be awarded the prestigious Jim Castañeda Postgraduate Scholarship given each year to a distinguished graduate from each school in the league … Finished year with an 80.19 season stroke average … Recorded 34 total birdies for the year, good for third-most on the team … Top finisher for the Herd once with one top 10 finish … Scored a season-best even par 72 in the second round of the William & Mary Fall Invitational (Sept. 12-13) sinking four of her six total birdies in the second (80+72+80) … Tied with Makena Rauch to lead the team tying for 10th at the Pirate Collegiate Classic (Sept. 20-21) to help the Herd finish fourth overall (73+77+74) tallied six total birdies and scored a season and career-best three-round score of 224 … Tied for 26th overall at the Butler Fall Invitational (Oct. 4-5) … Recorded six total birdies at the Grandover Fall Classic (Nov. 1-2) … Competed at the River Landing Classic (March 7-8) and the Golfweek Any Given Tuesday Intercollegiate (March 28-30) … Lowered scored by seven strokes in the third round of the Golfweek AGT … Competed in 15 total events, 44 rounds, in four seasons with the Herd.

Personal: Born October 7, 1999 … Daughter of Larry and Traci Kalaskey … Father played golf at West Liberty University … One of six children, older sister Miranda attends WVU Dental School, younger siblings Joseph and Jacob attend George Washington High School and Patrick and Payden attend Kenna Elementary … Chose Marshall because, “Marshall has a competitive, successful women’s golf team that I hope can push me to further my abilities. Marshall also offers promising academics and has a comfortable, exciting environment on campus that I love.” … Plans to major in cellular, molecular and medical biology with a minor in chemistry.
