As a Sophomore: Named as a tri-captain after third match of the season because of her leadership in the back...Started 16 of the 17 matches she appeared in...Scored her frist career goal and registered her first career assist in the Herd[apos]s record-breaking match versus Pikeville...Recorded two shots on goal...Named to the Green and White all-tournament team.
As a Freshman: Started season in midfield before settling into Marshall[apos]s back four...Started the first six matches of her Herd career before suffering season ending injury against Western Michigan...Proved to be a valuable presence on the bench during rehab period...Coach Kane[apos]s first Marshall commitment.
High School: A four-year letterwinner at Centerville High....An all-state, all-league, and all-district selection...Also an all-state academic pick...Played club ball for the CUP Panthers that finished as State Cup finalists, Jefferson Cup Champs, National League Champs and a Regional finalists in 2003.
Personal: Born on December 20, 1985...Daughter of Greg and Wanda Burchett...Major is marketing.
