C-USA Defensive Player of the Week (Feb. 16)
One of seven Marshall women’s soccer student-athletes to play and start all 10 games during the season…played 878 minutes on the pitch, missing just 31 potential minutes of action…had shots in three contests, WKU (Mar. 18), FIU (Mar. 22) and Middle Tennessee (Apr. 9) with shot against WKU making its way on target…saw a season-high 99 minutes of game time at ETSU (Feb. 13).
While at East Carolina: Played in 17 matches for the Pirates, scoring a goal against UNC Asheville in two seasons in Greenville.
High School: Attended Creekside High School in St. John’s, Fla., where she played soccer for four years…was a two-time all-region player, while winning district and region titles and was an all-state champion.
Personal: Born Jan. 17, 2000…daughter of Sara and Trey Hollis…father played baseball at University of North Florida…has three younger siblings, Caroline, Maddie, and Emma…aunt, Brenda Wheeler, played basketball at the University of Kentucky…wants to travel the world and live in Europe…lists favorite hobbies as working out, cooking and art.
