2010-11 (Junior): Was victorious against Ohio in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.89)...posted career best times in the 50 freestyle (at C-USA Championships), 100 freestyle (James Madison), 100 breatstroke (C-USA), and 200 breaststroke (WVU)....named to the C-USA Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll
Prior to Marshall: Swam at the club level for the Fog City Hammerheads (2008), Terrapins Swimming (03-04), Tiger Aquatics (01-03) and Spring Swim Team (1996-01)...attended Lincoln HS (03-04), Central York HS (04-06) and Westmoor HS (06-07)...qualified for San Jaoquin County Sections in 2003 and the Central Coast Sections in 2006 and was also named the Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award in 2007.
Personal: Daughter of Raymond and Denise Tarka ... sister, Grace, swims for Tulane University...majoring in philosophy.
