High School: Attended and swam at Stoughton High School in Stoughton, Wisc., for four years…recorded several top-10 finishes at the state meet sixth in the 200m freestyle her freshman year, fourth in her junior year and winning the event in her sophomore season…in the 100m freestyle, she took seventh at the state meet during her freshman season, sixth as a junior and a third place finish her sophomore year.
Personal: Born Apr. 23, 2003…daughter of Dave and Jennifer Bormett…has an older brother, Ian, who competes on the triathlon team at UW Madison…lists her brother as her biggest role model…after he her playing career is over she wants to work in a career that allows her to work with athletes…lists reading and hiking among her favorite hobbies.
