Andrew Brown was named Senior Associate Director of Athletics/Capital Projects & Championship Facilities by VP/Director of Athletics Gerald J. Harrison in August 2025.

Brown is a member of the department's Executive Team and also serves as the sport administrator for baseball, men's soccer, women's soccer and the men's and women's golf programs.

His new appointment comes after he served as Associate Athletic Director for Facilities & Game Operations since July 2022.

In his current role, Brown is responsible for the oversight of all athletic facilities, capital projects, daily operations, and event management.  The department has overseen several high-profile upgrades in recent years, including the design and construction of Jack Cook Field, Marshall’s new on-campus baseball ballpark; the renovation of Gullickson Hall Gymnasium into the Scaggs Family Practice Facility; and the Henderson Center Arena Pathway Project, which enhanced both the fan and student-athlete experience, as well as installation of state-of-the-art video boards at the football, baseball, softball, and soccer venues. Additionally, fueling stations have been built in Marshall’s strength and conditioning facilities to benefit Marshall's student-athletes.

Brown began his tenure at Marshall in 2009 as a graduate assistant in Facilities & Game Operations while studying sport administration in the Master’s program. He was later promoted to Director and served five years as Assistant Athletic Director before assuming his current role. In 2021, he went back to school and completed a master’s degree in leadership studies, also from Marshall.

A New Hampshire native, Brown earned his bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Eastern Nazarene College, where he was a four-year member of the men’s basketball program. He lives in Huntington with his wife, Cameron—a former Marshall volleyball student-athlete—and their two sons, Paxton and Miles.
