Augusto Maciel

Augusto Maciel was named as Assistant Coach for Marshall Women's Soccer in February 2026 after serving as a volunteer coach during the 2025 season.
Maciel brings nearly a decade of experience as both a coach and player with involvement at all levels of amateur soccer.
Maciel brings a blend of business acumen and grassroots coaching experience to the program, bringing a strong background in player development, training session design and tactical preparation to the Herd.
He previously coached youth soccer and led community relations efforts with The Villages SC in Florida and was a college and semi-pro player as well.
Maciel holds an MBA in Finance from Marshall University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Charleston.
