Erich Rodrigues Leite joined Marshall University in March 2026 as the Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach, bringing a professional background that spans the USL Super League, NCAA Division I, and USL2. Before arriving in Huntington, he served as the Head Assistant Coach and Midfielder Specialist for Tampa Bay Sun FC, where he played a key role in player development, tactical planning, and recruitment during the club’s inaugural championship season. His experience also includes impactful collegiate work at the University of South Florida and technical leadership roles with Lakeland United FC and Oakland County FC.
Across his coaching career, Erich has built a reputation for developing intelligent, technically strong midfielders and for creating training environments that emphasize tactical clarity, competitive standards, and player growth. He is trilingual in Portuguese, English, and Spanish and holds a U.S. Soccer B License.
