Megan Griswold joined the Marshall Swimming & Diving staff as the Diving Coach in 2018.
Griswold coached Grace Kelsheimer as the senior won a championship on the 1m boards at the Sun Belt Conference Championships, first-team all-SBC honors, qualified for NCAA Diving Zones on the 1m and 3m boards along with six SBC Diver of the Week awards. Kelsheimer also set the program records in the 1m and 3m with a Fitch Natorium Pool Record on the 1m boards.
In 2023-24, Griswold saw the team win a team title at the 2024 SBC Championships along with Kelsheimer earning second-team all-conference honors, silver at the SBC Championships on the 1m and 3m boards while being an NCAA Zones Qualifier in both disciplines.
The 2022-23 season Kelsheimer win silver at the Missouri Valley Championships on the 1m under Griswold's guidance as Kelshiemer and Lauren Henderson each competed on the 1m boards at the NCAA Diving Zones.
During the 2021--22 campaign, Griswold coached Kailee Payne to the C-USA Freshman Diver of the Year Award as Payne qualified for NCAA Diving Zones on the 1m boards.
2019-2020 season, her first year and a half here at Marshall University, she has produced 2 Zone qualifiers, 2 conference finalists, and 2 All-Americans.
Prior to joining the Herd, Griswold's experiences include coaching at Ripfest as a counselor and working alongside Olympic coaches and athletes from all across the world and a stint at Tiffin leading one of her student athletes, Jordan Wright, to Division II nationals.
Griswold is originally from Toledo, Ohio and graduated from Youngstown State University in 2017. She competed all four years on the boards as she pursued a double major in Geography and Telecommunications. Siford also has her Master’s in Business Administration at Tiffin University. While her time there she coached the men’s and women’s diving program.
