Riley Blampied joins Marshall as Assistant Coach with a focus on defense, primarily outfield.
Blampied a 2024 graduate of the University of South Carolina, having a successful academic and athletic career for the Gamecocks. She was a two-time CSC Academic All-District member while becoming the 11th player in South Carolina history to drive in 100 RBI and score 100 runs.
The native of Cordele, Georgia most recently served as a graduate assistant at her alma mater. She is currently playing professionally with the New York Rise professional softball team.Â
