Recruited to Marshall from Oyster Bay, N.Y., by Coach Stu Aberdeen, Ken Labanowski helped the Thundering Herd basketball team to two Southern Conference Tournament championship games and another semifinal appearance over his four years in the Green and White. Among his career highlights was helping Marshall to its first win over West Virginia University, a 91-78 triumph in December 1981.
