The Marshall Thundering Herd has won the East Division of the Mid-American Conference and will play the winner of the West in the championship game on November 30. The game will be hosted by the winner of the West and the site may not be determined until the final regular season game (Nov. 24th).
Please note the following guidelines and place your order for the game.
Ticket quantity and locations will be determined by the Big Green Scholarship Foundation based on Big Green Priority Points. You may request up to 20 tickets, however you will only be guaranteed priority seating for the amount at which you qualify.
In order to utilize your priority points for your tickets we must receive your order by November 23.
Advance orders may only be placed with a credit card!! Your credit card will not be charged until the game location is announced. Once the location has been announced, the MU ticket office will process all advance orders for the selected location. After the location has been announced, the ticket office will allow for cash and check sales.
Tickets will be available for pickup at the MU ticket office beginning at noon on Monday, November 26. Tickets will be available at the team hotel from 10 a.m. until noon on Friday, Nov. 30, and at the visiting team will call at the game.
If you do not choose to order in advance, the tickets that remain after the advance orders and priority-seating orders are filled will be available the week prior to the game.
There will be no refunds or cancellations, once the order is received you are obligated to purchase the tickets requested.

To celebrate our five years atop the MAC East and our unprecedented fifth consecutive shot at the MAC championship, the Big Green and Marshall Alumni Association want to ?Gather the Herd? together before the Big Game! Regardless of where we play, the Big Green and Marshall Alumni Association will be hosting a pre-game tailgate party with food and drink to celebrate with the Herd faithful.
The event will feature:
A tailgate area and tent adjacent to the stadium.
Pre-game food and drink, traditional tailgate fare!
A pep rally with the Marshall Cheerleaders.
A chance to win a Bowl Game package for two! (2 tickets and 2 nights hotel accomodations.) Your odds of winning increase with every tailgate ticket purchased. The winner will be chosen at halftime of the Marshall women?s basketball game on December 5 against Navy when we will ?JAM THE CAM?. You must be in attendance to win.
Depending upon our location, space could be limited, we must receive your order by November 23 to assure your spot at the party!
The Big Green/Alumni Association Tailgate will be coordinated with the visiting team and may be restricted by host institutions guidelines.
Ordering Questions and Answers
How do I order MAC Championship tickets?
You can either mail in the enclosed order form or call your order in to the Athletic Ticket Office 1-800-THE-HERD. Orders can be faxed 304-696-6712. Orders received by the November 23rd priority deadline will be eligible for seating based on Big Green priority points.
How many tickets can I order?
You can order an unlimited amount of tickets, however the number seated in priority will be based on your donation level in compliance with Big Green guidelines.

Can I order tickets if I am not a Big Green Member?
Yes you can! However if ticket orders exceed our allotment of tickets we will fill orders based first on Big Green priority points and secondly on the date the order was received.
What if the Ticket office sells out? Are there other tickets and prices?
We will accept orders for the Championship game through November 23rd. If the number of orders exceeds our allotment we will then fill orders based first on Big Green priority points and secondly on the date the order was received. Marshall will be obligated to sell 2,500 tickets, once this allotment has been sold we have the option to get an additional 2,500 tickets. The prices of the additional 2,500 tickets may vary depending upon location of game and the location with the host stadium.
How can I pay for my tickets?
Since each venue has a different ticket price we can only accept advance orders with credit cards. Your credit card will not be charged until the game location has been announced and it is determined that tickets will be available.
What if I order tickets and decide not to go?
Because of the ticketing process associated with the Championship game, there can be no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations.
What if I need handicap seating?
If you need handicap or any other special situational seating you must contact the ticket office of the hosting team. Once the venue has been set you can contact the respective ticket office to fulfill your ticket needs.
Why buy tickets from Marshall Ticket Office?
Marshall University is required to sell 2,500 tickets to the MAC Championship, buying from Marshall will help MU minimize the cost of traveling to and attending the championship game.
Can I come to the ticket office and buy Championship game tickets there?
Yes you can. Starting Monday, November 26, remaining tickets (if available) will be sold over the phone and in person at the MU Athletic Ticket Office.
