Men's and Women's Soccer to Host Doubleheader

Huntington, W.Va.-The Marshall University men?s and women?s soccer teams will host a doubleheader at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11, at Sam Hood Field. In the opener, the Marshall women?s team will face conference-rival Kent State University. In the nightcap, the Marshall men?s team will square-off with Elon University. The match will start approximately 30 minutes after the finish of the first game.
The Marshall women enter their contest with Kent State with a record of 4-5-1, 1-3-1 in conference. Kent State enters the contest with a record of 4-6-1, 2-4-1 in conference. The series with the Golden Flashes is tied at 2-2.
The Marshall men?s team enters the contest with a record of 4-6-0, 1-1-0 in the conference. The meeting with Elon will be the first in school history.
Admission to both contests is free.
