HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Men's Soccer fans can now purchase 2026 season tickets, guaranteeing their opportunity to see one of the nation's elite soccer programs for an incredible value.
The 2026 schedule is highlighted by the Mountain State Derby – the Herd's annual contest against West Virginia – which will cap an incredible Homecoming Weekend at 7:15 p.m. on Sept. 27 at Hoops Family Field.
Demand is high for that matchup between perennial NCAA Top 10 men's soccer programs, and the only way to guarantee tickets for the Mountain State Derby is through the purchase of season tickets, which can be done HERE.
Those who purchase season tickets also get first crack at postseason tickets, which would include the 2026 Sun Belt Conference Tournament and the 2026 NCAA Tournament, should the Herd earn the right to host.
Marshall Men's Soccer coach Chris Grassie returns the Herd to the spotlight in the 2026 season as the team looks to make its eighth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance.
Fans will have nine guaranteed chances to see the Herd during the 2026 season at Hoops Family Field with the opportunity for several more matches in the postseason.
One of the greatest college soccer venues in the NCAA is already set to rock in 2026 with the main grandstand already sold out, thanks to the loyalty of Marshall season ticket holders.
That does not mean those wishing to join the action at Hoops Family Field are left without options, though.
There are still reserved bleacher seating opportunities in Section 100 on the South side of Hoops Family Field and there is also a new section – Section 106 – that can accommodate 250 more reserved seats for fans at Hoops Family Field. Both of those options start at $105 per seat for the season.
General admission season tickets also start at $90, making it the most affordable opportunity in the nation to see a nationally-ranked program.
Marshall's 2026 home schedule gets underway on Aug. 15 with a battle of national contenders within their own divisions as the Thundering Herd hosts the University of Charleston, an NCAA Division II powerhouse and former home of Grassie.
The Herd's regular season opener is an Aug. 20 matchups against Fairfield.
Other notable home matchups include a Sept. 6 matchup against VCU, who knocked off No. 1 Clemson in 2025, an Oct. 9 battle with Georgia Southern who was ranked in 2025, and other Sun Belt Conference tilts with JMU (Oct. 21) and Old Dominion (Nov. 3).
Marshall is coming off a season in which the Herd finished ranked No. 17 in the United Soccer Coaches Association Poll after advancing to the NCAA Tournament's Second Round in 2025.
