Marshall-Akron Game Time Moved For TV

The Mid-American Conference announced today that the football game between the Thundering Herd and Akron, scheduled for Nov. 2 at the Rubber Bowl in Akron, has been selected as the MAC Game of the Week.
The game, originally scheduled for a 6 p.m. kickoff, will be moved to a 3:30 p.m. (EST) start for television.
The MAC Game of the Week will be carried live on Fox Sports Net Ohio, Fox Sports Net Detroit, Fox Sports Net Pittsburgh, Fox Sports Net Midwest and the Sunshine Network.
In addition to the Marshall-Akron game, the league announced that the Nov. 9 game between Bowling Green and Northern Illinois will be the MAC Game of the Week, with a 2:30 p.m. (EST) kickoff.
Additional MAC Games of the Week will be aired on Nov. 16 at 3:30 p.m. and Nov. 23 at Noon and 3:30 p.m.
The Marshall-Ohio game, on Nov. 23 at 3:30 p.m., has already been selected as the MAC Game of the Week.
The announce team for the MAC games will include Michael Rehgi, Charles Arbuckle and Sharon Thorsland.
Marshall will host Troy State this Saturday with kickoff slated for 4:30 p.m. That game will be televised as a part of the ISP/Thundering Herd Network. Affiliattes include WSAZ-TV in Huntington/Charleston, WOAY-TV in Oak Hill, WVFX-TV in Clarksburg, WDRL-TV in Roanoke, VA, WXIV-TV in Reidsville, NC, WRJM-TV in Troy, AL, and Comcast Sports Southeast.
The Troy State game will also be available on ESPN GamePlan. Announcers for that game will be Keith Morehouse, Sonny Randle and John Gregory.
