RICHMOND, K.Y. - Marshall University?s women?s golf team showed continued improvement by placing 10th in the Eastern Kentucky Fall Invitational with an overall team score of 657.
Marshall?s all-freshman team was led by Jodie Switzer who shot rounds of 76 and 78 ro finish 10-over par at 154. The Herd?s Carling Dickey finished tied for 20th at 157 and Sheena Caron finished tied fo 22nd at 158.
Western Kentucky won the team title with a score of 616 (305-311), while Jenny Schnipke of Bowling Green State won the individual title with a score of 145 (75-70).
Marshall?s women?s team will return to action on October 21 and 22 in the Great Smokies Women?s Collegiate at Waynesville, N.C.
