Men's Golf Travels to North Carolina

HUNTINGTON, WV- The Marshall men and women?s golf team will be traveling to North Carolina this weekend for tournaments at Durahm, NC and Waynesville, NC.

The men will be competing in the Duke Golf Classic in Durahm. Derek Hurwitch, Brad Tweel, Ben Maynard, Drew Whitten and Ryan Stewart will represent Marshall in the tournamanet.

The 14-team field consists of Alabama-Burmingham, Augusta State, Arizona State, Costal Carolina, Duke, Florida Sothern, Furman, Georgia Southern, Houston, Illinois, Michigan State, Virginia, Virginia Tech and the Thundering Herd.

The first round of both tournaments begins Monday and the second rounds Tuesday.
