Women's Golf travels to North Carolina

GOLF TEAMS TRAVEL TO NORTH CAROLINA

HUNTINGTON, WV- The Marshall men and women?s golf team will be traveling to North Carolina this weekend for tournaments at Durahm, NC and Waynesville, NC on Monday.

The women will participate in the Wachovia-First Union Great Smokies Intercollegiate in Waynesville. The all-freshman team of Carling Dickey, Jodie Switzer, Andrea Prola, Sheena Caron and Katy O?Neal will be competeing.

The 25-team field includes - Western Carolina, Elon, Appalachian State, Radford, East Tennessee State, Evansville, Eastern Kentucky, Austin Peay, Hofstra, Loyola-Chicago, Mobile, Belmont, Western Kentucky, Dayton, Eastern Illinois, Methodist, Wofford, Lipscomb, Murray State, Xavier, Gardner-Webb, Samford, The Citadel, Tennessee Tech and Marshall.

The first round of both tournaments begins Monday and the second rounds Tuesday.
