Top Prospect from Maine Signs with Men's Golf

Marshall University Director of Golf Joe Feaganes announced today that Shawn Warren of Windham, Maine has signed National Letter of Intent to play for the Thundering Herd.

?Shawn has great credentials and is a proven winner,? Feaganes said. ?We expect him to come in and have an immediate impact on our golf team.?

Warren, a two-time Maine Junior Champion, is the 2002 Maine High School State Champion and Player-of-the-Year. Warren won medalist honors in the Maine ?Big I? state tournament and was Runner-up in the 2002 New England Junior. In addition, Warren finished 20th at the 2002 National Independent Insurance Agents Classic, was Runner-up at this year?s AJGA SLI Junior Classic in New Seabury, Mass., placed 5th in the Maine Amateur, and was ninth overall at the PGA of America Junior. He is a four-time All-New England and All-State selection.
