Brian Perry Named Mid-American Conference Golfer of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Marshall University?s Brian Perry has been named the Mid-American Conference Golfer of the Week following his outstanding performance in last weekend?s Big Red Classic in Ocala, Fla.

?I?m very happy for Brian,? Marshall head coach Joe Feaganes said. ?He has been working hard on his game and it is starting to pay off.?

Perry, a senior from New Smyrna Beach, Fla., shot rounds of 73, 72, and 70 to finish in a tie for third place with a one under par 215. Perry?s performance helped Marshall to a sixth place team finish in the 16-team event.
