Golf Travels to First Energy Intercollegiate

Marshall University?s men?s golf team will compete in the First Energy Intercollegiate Saturday and Sunday.
The tournament, hosted by the University of Akron, features 18 schools from across the region and will be contested on the North Course of the world famous Firestone Country Club. Firestone?s South Course has been the site of the PGA?s World Golf Championships NEC Invitational over the years. The North Course is a par 72, 7,060-yard course.
Marshall?s five man team consists of Aaron Williams, Burke Spensky, Steve Sisson, Ryan Stewart and Brad Tweel.
This will be the last regular season tournament for Marshall this season. The Thundering Herd will compete in the Mid-American Conference Championship May 2-4 at the Medallion Club in Columbus.
