Marshall Prepares For Morehead State

The Marshall University volleyball team (7-4) returns to action Tuesday night against the Morehead State (6-7) Eagles. Game time is slated for 7 p.m., with the game being broadcasted live on campus radio station WMUL-FM.
The Thundering Herd are coming off a 3-1 victory over intrastate rival West Virginia on Saturday night. MU got outstanding performances from Isabelle Anderer (Sinsheim, Germany), who had a double-double with 20 kills and 20 digs, Heidi Kuethe (Normal, Ill.) who hit .440 (14-3-25), and Grace Jones (Lakeland, Fla.) who had 11 kills, no errors, in 13 attempts (.846). The .846 percentage tied for the 12th best in MAC history.
Morehead State comes to Huntington riding a four match win streak. Senior Amy Almond leads Morehead with 231 kills.
