ABOUT WESTERN MICHIGAN
?They have a huge difference on defense, but some of the same stuff. On offense if he thinks they can run the ball, he?ll run the ball.?
?Marshall brings a big crowd ? our players will be motivated to play.?
ABOUT MARSHALL'S SCHEDULE
?You play these schedules and you get beat up?you go to Tennessee then you play Toledo in front of 35,000 people, travel to Kansas State and there?s 45,000 people in the stands?even at Troy State there was a lot going on a lot of emotion?then you end up at Buffalo and all of a sudden you look over at their sideline and there?s a bunch of emotion and we are playing without it.?
?The problem we are having right now is with the right bit of emotion and if we get the breaks, like at Kansas State, you like the outcome?but it also works in reverse.?
?When you play below your potential, you can get beat by anybody.?
CONCERNING PRACTICE
?Last night we had some bounce in our step. I was pleased with that.?
?If we can have a good practice today, in a little bit of heat?it should be a good sign.?
ABOUT THE HERD DEFENSE
?We?ve been a little up and down?this year?s defense is a little better athletically.?
?If we can get healthy, we?ve got some experience?we just need to eliminate the mistakes?defensively and offensively we need to eliminate the mental mistakes and we will be pretty good.?
SCHROEDER, WALLACE, REMBERT
?(Z Receiver Jason) Schroeder will start?(Franklin ?Butchie?) Wallace will get x-rayed this week and we may use him in emergency situations this weekend?he practiced yesterday with no contact.?
?(J.T.) Rembert is trying to practice this week. Doctors have cleared him?it is still just sore.?
