With the win, Kentucky (11-4-1, 5-0-0 MAC) clinched the MAC regular season championship. The loss dropped Marshall to a record of 6-11-0 and 2-4-0 in the MAC. It was the final MAC game of the season for the Herd. The Wildcats will take on Northern Illinois on Friday to finish up their MAC schedule.
