Ashley Kroh Named Women's Tennis Player of the Week

Cleveland, Ohio-Marshall University women?s tennis player Ashley Kroh has been named Mid-American Conference women?s tennis player of the week by the conference office. This is the first time in her career Kroh, a sophomore from Louisville, Kent., has received the weekly honor.
Kroh was instrumental in Marshall?s 4-3 victory over Middle Tennessee State last week. Her 6-3, 6-3 victory over Laura McNamara gave the Thundering Herd the decisive point in the close victory over MTSU. In addition, she teamed with Lille Nzudie at number two doubles to defeat Jennifer Klaschka and Carien Venter 8-3 in order to give the Thundering Herd the doubles point.
Kroh and the rest of the Marshall women?s tennis team will return to action on Friday, March 28, when they open conference play against Miami-Ohio at 1:00 p.m. in Huntington, W.Va.
