Women's Golf Ready for William & Mary Invitational

Marshall University's women's golf team will take part in the William & Mary Invitaitonal Saturday and Sunday at Ford's Colony's Blackheath Course in Williamsburg, Va.

Twenty one schools from across the eastern United States will particpate in the tournament. The field consists of Appalachian State, Ball State, Boston College, Bowling Green, Bucknell, William & Mary, Elon, Georgetown, Hampton, James Madison, Longwood, Marshall, Methodist, Ohio, Princeton, Rutgers, St. John's, Pennsylvania, Richmond, Western Michigan, and Xavier.

Freshman Sheena Caron, this week's MAC Golfer of the Week, is expected to lead the Thundering Herd. Caron finished third in last week's Lady Herd/El Diablo in Citrus Springs, Fla.
