Minyard Finishes Tied for 15th at FirstEnergy Intercollegiate

RAVENNA, Ohio - Marshall University's Ben Minyard fired a three-round total of 219 (nine over par) to finish tied for 15th in the FirstEnergy Intercollegiate hosted by Kent State University at the Windmill Lakes Golf Club this weekend.

Minyard, a junior, shot rounds of 75, 72, and 72 in the two-day event to lead a Marshall University team that finished 14th out of 15 squads at 916.

Kent State won the event with an 857. Toledo's Brad Heaven won a playoff with Kent States Peter Laws to take medalist honors at 210 (Even Par).
