Danielle Hock Earns Women's Tennis Player of the Week

Cleveland, Ohio-Danielle Hock became the fourth Marshall University women?s tennis player to be selected as Mid-American Conference Women?s Tennis Player of the Week the conference office announced. Hock joins fellow teammates Jessica Johnson, Ashley Kroh and Joelle Good as winners this year.
Hock went a perfect 6-0 on the week as Marshall remained undefeated in conference play and won the regular season conference title. She accomplished the perfect week without losing a set.
Hock also finished the season perfect in conference play, going 9-0 in both singles and doubles. After posting two victories against in-state rival West Virginia University, Hock posted four victories over Toledo and Eastern Michigan.
Marshall will return to action this weekend in the Mid-American Conference tournament, as they look to repeat as champions and earn a berth into the NCAA Tournament. Marshall will take on the winner of the University of Toledo-University of Akron match on Friday, April 25, at 11:00 a.m. in Ypsilanti, Mich.
