Volleyball Adds West Virginia Product

HUNTINGTON, W.VA.--Marshall head coach Mitch Jacobs has announced that Amanda Holt, a 6'3 middle blocker from Tolsia High School in Fort Gay, West Virginia, has been invited to walk on for the Thundering Herd in the fall of 2003.
"It's great to get some local talent playing for Marshall," said Jacobs. "Amanda is an outstanding athlete who has great desire and an excellent attitude.
"She knows she will have to put in some hard work here, but I think that her love of the game of volleyball could provide for tremendous progress and a great career for the Thundering Herd."
"Of course I'm excited, but I'm a little nervous too," said Holt. "Hopefully, coach Jacobs can help me get better and teach me some things about the game of volleyball."
