Men's Soccer Hosts Western Michigan Friday

HUNTINGTON, W. Va. - The Thundering Herd men's soccer team begins conference play on Friday when it hosts the Western Michigan Broncos at Sam Hood Field. The game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Marshall (1-5-0) is looking to halt a four game losing streak and earn its second win of the season. Leading the way for the Herd thus far is Granit Caushaj. The senior forward from Chicago, Ill., has scored two goals through the first six games of the season.

The Broncos come into the game with a 6-2 overall record, the best in the Mid-American Conference. WMU's leading scorer, Jeff Hughes, currently has a MAC-high six goals and three assists.
