Men's Soccer Prepares to Face High Point

The Herd men's soccer team is preparing to face the High Point Panthers on Friday night. The team is coming off of a tough loss to the St. Peter's Peacocks on Monday. The Peacocks scored the game-winning goal seconds before the game was stopped due to the weather.

This will be the third meeting between Marshall and High Point. Marshall leads the series 2-1 and shut out the Panthers last year. The Panthers are 0-1 after losing to UNC Greensboro on Wednesday night.

This will be the last game at home for the Herd before a lengthy road trip, which will see them participate in the Birmingham Southern Tournament in Birmingham, AL and the William & Mary Tournament in Williamsburg, VA. They will return home on September 26 to face Western Michigan.

Gametime on Friday is 7:00 at Sam Hood Field.
