Cross Country Travels to MAC Championships

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall University men's and women's cross country teams will be traveling to Toledo, Ohio to compete in the Mid-American Conference Championship meet on Saturday, Oct. 30.

Leading the men's team into the championship meet is senior Jason Pyles (Galipolis Ferry, W.Va.). In the Thundering Herd's last meet, Pyles finished seventh with a time of 26:34.40.

On the women's side freshman Emily Bailey (Kenova, W.Va.) leads the way. Bailey was the top finisher for the Herd in the last meet, finishing 14th in a time of 20:08.40.

The men's MAC championship meet is set to begin at 11 a.m. with the women's race following shortly at 12 noon.
