Kane Adds Signee to Make 11

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. ? Marshall women?s soccer head coach Chris Kane has announced the signing of his 11th recruit. Woodbridge, Va., product Katie Watson has signed a National Letter of Intent to the play for the Thundering Herd in 2004.
Watson, who will graduate from Potomac High School this spring, notched 14 varsity letters in her tenure, including four soccer, four cross country, three indoor track, and three outdoor track. Chosen as PHS Athlete of the Year in 2003, Watson was MVP and an all-district pick in both soccer and cross country, while playing club ball with the Manassas Hornets.
She chose MU over East Carolina, East Tennessee State, and Old Dominion.
?We?re thrilled to add another player of Katie?s caliber to the class,? Kane said. ?She brings a lot of athleticism and personality to the program.?
