HUNTINGTON, W.Va. ? The Marshall University women?s soccer team has released its spring schedule, highlighted by a home contest against Morehead State University on April 3.
The Herd?s six playing dates include four games at the Ohio State 7v7 tournament, the Mountain State Invitational, a contest in Huntington against the Morehead State Eagles, and a trio of games at Ohio University. MU will wind up the spring semester with games against James Madison and Liberty in Harrisonburg, Va. on April 17 and an alumni match at Sam Hood Field on April 24.
?We?re excited to get back outside and knock the ball around,? head coach Chris Kane said. ?It?s going to be an interesting spring with only ten healthy players but it will be a good experience, especially for those who didn?t get much time this fall.
?Every match will be a learning experience for the players.?
Marshall will travel to Columbus on Feb. 28, to take on OSU Alumni, OSU Elite, Carmel Blue (U16, IN) and another game to be announced. The game against the alumni kicks off at 10 a.m.
