HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Head coach Chris Kane, in his second year at the helm of the Marshall University women's soccer program, has announced the Herd's 2004 schedule.
Marshall will kick off the season in the Keystone State with stints at the University of Pittsburgh and in Philadelphia at LaSalle, Kane's alma mater, and at Drexel.
The first two home games of the season will take place on Sept. 1 and 3, as the Herd plays host to Morehead State and Cleveland State in a pair of 7 p.m. games at Sam Hood Field.
Mixed in with a tough conference tilt are games at Wright State, Maryland-Baltimore County, and Virginia Tech.
"We are so excited for the season to get here," Kane said. "The eight home games give our fans something to be excited about and our road schedule will prove to be a great test for our program."
Marshall returns eleven players from last year's squad, including first team all-MAC goalie, Ashleigh Woods (Penfield, N.Y.).
