Men's Golf Opens Spring Season With St. Croix Invitational

The Thundering Herd travels to St. Croix, Virgin Islands and the St. Croix Invitational for their first spring tournament of the season. The event is hosted by Xavier University.

Six letterwinners return from the fall, including Burke Spensky (Huntington, W.Va.), a senior who played in the fall but did not play last spring because of a back injury, and freshman Shawn Warren (Windham, Maine),who led the Herd in stroke average during fall competition (75.13).

Along with Spensky and Warren, Steve Ross (Huntington, W.Va.), Ben Minyard (Avondale, Ariz.), and Brad Tweel (Huntington, W.Va.).
