Men's Golf Takes Part In Kepler Invitational This Weekend

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Marshall men's golf team hopes to carry over momentum from last week's Marshall Invitational when they take part in Ohio State's Johnny Kepler Intercollegiate this Saturday and Sunday.

The Buckeyes, who captured the Marshall Invitational, are one of 18 teams competing this weekend. Ball State, Eastern Michigan, Indiana, Kansas State, Marshall, Kent State, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, Penn State, Purdue, Illinois, Iowa, Toledo, Xavier, and host Ohio State are slated for action.

Marshall finished third last weekend, their best finish of the season thus far.

Competition begins Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start.

Burke Spensky (Huntington, W.Va.), Shawn Warren (Windham, Maine), Ben Minyard (Avondale, Ariz.), Brad Tweel (Huntington, W.Va.), and Steve Ross (Huntington, W.Va.) will hit the course for the Thundering Herd.
