BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Thundering Herd currently stand in 14th place after two rounds of play at the Indiana Invitational in Bloomington, Ind., with a score of 355 (327-328). Michigan State leads the tournament at the end of day one with a 605 (300-305).
Marshall's leading scorer after the first two rounds is Amber Churchill (Dublin, Ohio), who carded a 153 (79-74) and is tied for 13th place. Allyson Hatcher (Wheeling, W.Va.) shot a 159 (76-83), which was good for a tie for 39th. Tammy Mahar (Ashland, Ky.) and Stacy Wagner (Harmony, Pa.) rounded out the Marshall scoring for the day with a 171 (86-85) and 173 (87-86) respectively. Jodie Switzer (Collingwood, Ont.) and Carling Dickey (New Castle, Ind.) also scored a 174 (86-88) and a 182 (90-92).
Katie Brophy of Notre Dame leads the field after shooting a two-under 146 (72-74).
The tournament concludes Sunday morning with an 8:30 a.m. start.
