Billingy Named to Inn Tower Invitational All-Tournament Team

MADISON, WIS. - Following a stellar weekend of play, Marshall freshman volleyball player Kelly-Anne Billingy (Trincity, Trinidad) was selected to the Inn Tower Invitational All-Tournament Team.
Billingy was instrumental in the Herd's 3-2 win over defending Conference USA champion Cincinnati Friday night. The 6-2 outside hitter had 22 kills and a .300 hitting percentage against the Bearcats. She also tallied four service aces, including two on the final three points of the match.
Saturday, Billingy had a team-high nine kills against Wisconsin and a career-high 29 kills against Virginia in the tournament finale for the Herd. She completed the double-double against the Cavaliers with 10 digs.
Billingy also made the all-tournament team in the Demon Deacon Invitational hosted by Wake Forest earlier this season. In ten matches, Billingy has 186 kills.
