Herd Volleyball Adds Pittsburgh to Schedule

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall University head volleyball coach Mitch Jacobs announced the addition of the University of Pittsburgh to its 2005 schedule.

The addition brings another NCAA qualifier to already challenging schedule for the Herd in 2005.

The match is scheduled for Sept. 14, 2005 at Pittsburgh before the team heads to face one of the nation's top teams, Penn State, in a tournament on Sept. 16.

The Herd is also scheduled to play NCAA Tournament teams, Rice and Maryland along with the Panthers and Nittany Lions.
