Johnson Earns Spot on C-USA All-Academic Team

HUNTINGTON- Marshall women's soccer player Erin Johnson was named to the first ever Conference USA women's soccer All- Academic team. Johnson holds a 4.0 grade point average in bio-medical sciences and a minor in chemistry.
"I am proud of Erin's accomplishments both on and off the field," head coach Chris Kane said. "This recognition is well deserved."
The all-academic team consists of 11 student-athletes that have earned a 3.2 cumulative grade point average or better and are a starter or key reserve on the women's soccer team.
On the field, Johnson started all 17 games for the Thundering Herd, scored two goals and tallied two assists as the anchor in the midfield this season.
Off the field, Johnson is a John Marshall Scholar, Marshall Honor Student and a member of the Gamma Beta Phi Society of Honor and Service.
Sue Ahrens, Kassie Hollman, Kelly Jackson, Ali Lizotte and Dana Yeske all received Honorable Mention.
