Rain Washes Out Second Day of Cougar Classic Saturday

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. - Inclement weather has forced the cancellation of the remaining four games Saturday during the second day of competition at the College of Charleston Cougar Classic. Marshall will face Akron at 10 a.m. Sunday. The game was originally scheduled for 9 a.m.

Marshall (6-7) was slated to play College of Charleston (4-5) at 3:30 p.m., followed by the Dayton Flyers (1-1) at 8:30 p.m.

Following the completion of the Cougar Classic, the Marshall Thundering Herd will return to action Friday, March 3, at the Buzz Classic in Marietta, Ga.
