Men's Soccer Announces Marshall Soccer School Dates

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall men's soccer program has announced camp dates for this summer in the Tri-State area. The Herd will host individual camps June 6-9 at Hurricane Wave Pool Park and June 12-15 at the YMCA Kennedy Center, and a team camp on June 16-18 at Cedar Lakes.

On June 6-9, Marshall University Men's Soccer and Putnam County Parks and Recreation will offer a camp for boys and girls ages 5- 12 at the Hurricane Wave Pool Park from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.. The cost is $75, which includes a camp T-shirt.

On June 12-15, the Herd will host a camp at the YMCA Kennedy Center for boys aged 5-12. The camp will last from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and the cost is $75 and includes a T-shirt.

The Marshall Soccer School is directed by Assistant Coach Paul Meehan, and will also include Marshall Men's soccer players. Groups will be determined by age and ability in order to create the best environment for learning, development, and fun! No experience necessary, all levels of ability are welcome.

Marshall's team camp will be June 16-18 at Cedar Lakes and will include a high level of daily training, led by Marshall University players and staff. Camp members will also receive individual attention from college coaches. Campers will also participate in training sessions and competitive games to enhance skill and tactical development at the home of the Marshall men's soccer preseason training camp. Cost is $150 per individual player, and schools that register as a team (18 players) pay only $135/player. An adult chaperone (required for each team) will be provided with housing/meals at no cost. The deadline is May 22, with a $500 deposit due for teams and full payment due for individuals. Space is limited!
