HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall volleyball team will hold its annual Green and White Scrimmage Saturday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. in the Cam Henderson Center. Admission is free.
Herd head coach Mitch Jacobs will hold a "Volleyball For Dummies" clinic at 3:30 p.m. before the scrimmage. All fans interested in learning about the game of collegiate volleyball are encouraged to attend.
The scrimmage is a part of a busy day for Herd Athletics on Saturday. Fans are invited to attend the football team's first "Herd Walk" of the season at 10 a.m. and an open scrimmage at 12:30 p.m. The Marshall Ticket Office will also be holding a Choose-A-Seat day during the festivities at Joan C. Edwards Stadium. To cap things off Saturday, the Marshall men's soccer team hosts West Virginia in an exhibition match at Sam Hood Field. Kick-off for that game is set for 7 p.m. All events are free to the public.
