Marshall University Women's Soccer Head Coach Chris Kane has announced that New Zealand standout Emma Harrison enrolled at Marshall in January and will play for the Thundering Herd in 2007.
"We're really excited to have someone like Emma join our program. Her work rate, intensity and her passion for the game will help us achieve greater success in Conference USA," Kane said. "Having an entire semester to get acclimated to the style of play and the academic demands will also help with her transition."
Harrison, a midfielder/defender from Queensland, NZ, played on the 2006 New Zealand U20 World Cup squad that competed in Russia last fall. She was a member of the national U16 team, the New Zealand U16 Academy team, and played on the NZ Senior Elite Academy Training Squad from 2003-2006.
