Cox Signs With Marshall Football

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall University head football coach Mark Snyder announced Monday that running back Jo Jo Cox has signed a National Letter of Intent with the Thundering Herd.

Cox, a five-foot-nine, 213-pound running back from Jeffersonville, Ga., is rated as a three star prospect by both Rivals and Scout. Cox was an all-state selection at Twiggs County High (Ga.) and originally planned to attend Clemson University before spending last season at Fork Union Military Academy. He rushed for 800 yards and eight touchdowns last season in six games for Fork Union.

Cox joins the 2007 Thundering Herd recruiting class and is expected to enroll this fall.
