HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Photos showing the progress of the new Marshall University Softball Complex are now available. To view the photos click the link at the top of the page or go to the softball main page.

The $2.5 million project is rapidly approaching its completion. The facility is expected to be ready for the conference home opener against Houston, March 15. The first two phases of the project include the playing surface, dugouts, warm-up areas and the press box. The playing surface and the warm-up areas are already completed. The press box, which will include concession stands and restrooms at its base, is currently being constructed.

The state-of-the-art facility is located across the street from the Joan C. Edwards stadium on 3rd Avenue.

A the new clubhouse is planned to undergo construction at the end of the season.
