HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall University men's soccer team, who sits in first place in the Conference USA standing, will host the second place team as the Tulsa Golden Hurricane comes to Sam Hood Field on Sunday night.

The Herd is coming off a 2-1 victory against Memphis on Wednesday, and improved to 8-5-1 overall, but more importantly moved to 4-1-0 in C-USA. Coming into this weekend, MU sits alone in first place with 12 points, while Tulsa and UAB both have 10 points.

The top four teams in C-USA will qualify for the post-season tournament. The site of the tournament will be at the university that wins the Conference USA regular-season title. MU has never hosted the C-USA tournament.

Senior Dustin Dawes tallied his first assist of the season Wednesday night against Memphis, and now has 13 points on the season, which is tied for ninth in C-USA. His six goals have him tied for fourth in conference. He leads Marshall in both categories.

MU is a perfect 5-0 at home on the season, and has two of its final three games at Sam Hood Field. Kickoff against Tulsa is set for 7 p.m.
