Daniel Withrow Named Marshall Student-Athlete of the Week

Marshall University men's soccer player Daniel Withrow is the Marshall Student Athlete of the Week. Withrow, the Herd goalie, who takes free kicks in the defensive zone, scored what proved to be the gamewinner during MU's 2-1 victory over South Carolina Oct. 31. Withrow had earlier saved a Gamecocks' penalty kick to preserve the 1-1 tie earlier in the match. The victory over South Carolina clinched a Conference USA Tournament berth for the Thundering Herd.
