Men's Golf Travels to Pinehurst Intercollegiate

Marshall University's men's golf team will compete in the Pinehurst Intercollegiate Sunday through Tuesday at the Pinehurst Country Club in Pinehurst, N.C.

The 19-team event is being hosted by East Carolina University and features Ball State, Belmont, ECU, Eastern Kentucky, Marquette, Marshall, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, Radford, UNC-Greensboro, UNC-Wilimington, St. Johns, Southern Miss, Toledo, VCU, Virginia Tech and Wichita State.

The tournament starts Sunday with the first round getting underway at 8 a.m. The second round is set for 8 a.m. on Monday and final round is scheduled for shotgun start at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.

Golfers Christian Brand, Nathan Kinker, Carson Schambach, Bennett Boyer and Ryan Brookshire will represent the Herd at the tournament.
